The owners of MetroPops share a special kindred spirit with the owners of McCann's. We both share a love for Rochester and most things local. We (Stefanie, Jason and Ben) have enjoyed many meals over great conversations and laughs with the owners' of McCann's Meats (Kev & Mo) discussing our beloved city.
What To Expect...
Rather than ruining the surprise and listing all of the delicious decadent details of Kevin's sinister plan to ruin our tastebuds for weeks after this spectacular night, we'll opt only to list the nights progression of events...
"I will put a hurtin' on everyone who comes" ..... "You won't even want to LOOK at food for at least three to four days after this is over!"

MetroPops Cost: $25 (roughly a 30% discount)

The Tasting...
The event will be a 3-course tasting with beer pairings. Each course will have 3 different food items for you to enjoy. One of the items on each course will be complemented with a beer chosen by the Chef.
Course 1: Charcuterie
Course 2: Sandwiches
Course 3: Signature Dishes

McCann's Local Meats is a locally sourced whole animal butcher shop and prepared foods shop that is located in the South Wedge neighborhood in Rochester, NY.
McCann’s Local Meats sources its foods locally and offers daily fresh meat cuts, sausages, charcuterie and more. The butcher shop features foods prepared by classically trained Chefs (Kevin & Mo McCann) who graduated from the Culinary Institute of America and trained in top restaurants in New York City.
